The City of Waupaca is expanding the Recreation Center to better serve the community’s needs for technology access and to foster local entrepreneurship and career development. Funded by the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s Flexible Facilities Program, this project will create a business center, a free and accessible community hub to support small businesses, remote workers, and startup entrepreneurs. The business center will be outfitted with coworking space, multi-purpose meeting rooms, telehealth rooms, and a recording studio for digital content creation. The space will offer a variety of resources and programming targeted to small businesses, entrepreneurs, community organizations, and jobseekers.
