The Parks and Recreation Department office is located at the Recreation Center. Enjoy our 42,000-square-foot Recreation Center located at 407 School Street. The facility has two full-size gymnasiums, a meeting room, a dance/exercise room, and batting cages. The facility is available for daily use and also available for rent by families and special events. Beginning in fall of 2026, the rec center will begin to offer expanded gym space, two conference rooms, telehealth rooms, a business lounge, 3 rentable business suites, and AV studio.
Closings
The Recreation Center, from time to time will be closed due to special events or adverse weather conditions. Watch our Facebook page for details or call 715.258.4435.

Many people find the Rec center a GREAT place to have a birthday party, baby shower or family gathering. Traveling sports teams enjoy the benefits of renting the gym for their teams. During the winter months space fills up fast, so please view availability and reserve in RecDesk, stop in or call if you need assistance. Full payment is required at the time of rental.
Rec Center Usage Guidelines
- Please include the time needed for setup, event duration and cleanup in the reservation.
- There is no alcohol, tobacco products or concealed weapons allowed in the Rec Center.
- Only one party will be booked during weekend hours, per day to avoid any issues with overlapping reservations.
