The city of Waupaca has received a grant from the Department of Transportation that will aid in the removal of the Pedestrian Bridge that crosses the river between Rotary and Hidden parks. The project is slated for 2028 where the current bridge will be removed and construction of a new, ADA accessible bridge, will happen. As part of this project Hidden Park will be reimagined into a park honoring our veterans. The new bridge will be higher leading to the green space next to Bank First.
