Ask the Admin: Question of the Month is a community engagement initiative designed to give residents a direct line to the City Administrator. Each month, community members are invited to submit questions about City services, projects, taxes, development, infrastructure, or how City Hall operates.

One question is selected each month and answered publicly in a clear, straightforward way. The goal of this initiative is to increase transparency, strengthen trust, and help residents better understand how decisions are made and how the City serves the community.

As City Administrator, my role is to oversee the City’s day-to-day operations, work closely with the Mayor, Common Council, and City staff, and help carry out the policies and priorities established by the Council. This initiative is one way to foster open communication, share context behind City decisions, and provide clear, accessible information to the community we serve.

Whether your question is about a specific project, a city process, or how things work behind the scenes, this is an opportunity to ask, and receive, a clear, informative response.
