Business Center Ribbon Cutting/Open House

The City of Waupaca is proud to announce the Ribbon Cutting and Open House on August 5 at 1:00 at the NEW! Waupaca Business Center: a welcoming, flexible, and professionally equipped space designed to support entrepreneurs, small businesses, remote workers, community organizations, and visitors alike.

The Waupaca Business Center was created to strengthen the local economy by providing affordable, accessible workspace and business resources that foster innovation, collaboration, creativity, and growth.

“Our goal is to create a space where ideas can flourish, businesses can grow, and people can connect,” said Mayor Brian Smith. “The Business Center is more than just a building, it’s a community asset that supports entrepreneurship, workforce development, and economic vitality throughout Waupaca and the surrounding region.”

The Center offers a variety of flexible workspace options and amenities, including:

  • Coworking Business Lounge – A comfortable, professional environment for remote workers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and visitors seeking productive workspace. Expert office hours for 1:1 professional support with startups, financing, growth planning, and succession planning.
  • Leasable Offices – Private office suites for startups, small businesses, and professionals seeking a professional business location.
  • AV Studio – Professional audio and video production space for content creators, podcasters, marketers, educators, and businesses.
  • Telehealth Rooms – Private, secure spaces designed for virtual healthcare appointments and remote consultations with medical equipment donated by ThedaCare.
  • Classrooms– Flexible meeting and educational spaces for workshops, training sessions, professional development, and community events.
  • Expert Office Hours – Meet 1:1 with professionals from organizations that support entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses, and financial growth.

The Business Center is designed to serve a wide range of users, including entrepreneurs, startups, home-based businesses, nonprofit organizations, remote workers, educational partners, public agencies, seasonal residents, tourists, and creative professionals.

As part of the City’s broader economic development strategy, the Business Center will work closely with local and regional partners, including the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce, Waupaca County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC), educational institutions, workforce development organizations, and business support networks.

The Center also provides an attractive option for visitors and seasonal residents who need temporary workspace while enjoying all that Waupaca has to offer.

With flexible access options, modern technology, collaborative spaces, and professional amenities, the Waupaca Business Center aims to become a regional destination for entrepreneurship, innovation, and business success.
