City Parks Bus Tour

Discover the stories, history, and natural beauty behind Waupaca’s park system during the Waupaca Parks Bus Tour on Saturday, August 8, from 9 am to 1 pm.

Hosted by the City of Waupaca Parks and Recreation Department and Waupaca Historical Society, this guided tour offers participants a unique opportunity to visit all 17 City of Waupaca Parks and Recreation properties in a single morning.

Throughout the tour, Laura Colbert, Waupaca Parks and Rec Director, will highlight the features and amenities for each park, while Tracy Behrendt, Director of the Waupaca Historical Society, will share the fascinating history behind the parks and the people, events, and landmarks that helped shape them.

The tour concludes at Upper South Park, where participants will enjoy a catered lunch.
