Yuletide Celebration
Due to forecasted cold temperatures, organizers regret to announce that the Waupaca Yuletide Parade originally scheduled for Thursday, December 7, has been cancelled. The safety and comfort of our community remain our top priority.
Despite the parade cancellation, several holiday activities will still proceed as planned:
Community Tree Lighting Update:
We are scheduling the tree lighting for 5:30 PM on Thursday at Danes Hall Plaza.
- Late Night Shopping — Local businesses will offer extended hours Thursday evening.
- Special Movie Night: “Elf” — Enjoy the holiday classic at the Rosa Theater Thursday evening.
All Friday, Saturday and Sunday Yuletide events are still planned as scheduled.
The Waupaca Area Arts and Culture Network is excited to announce the annual Waupaca’s Yuletide Celebration, a four-day celebration of community and holiday fun. The celebration will take place from December 4 to December 7, 2025, and promises fun for all ages!
Thursday, December 4:
- Yuletide Celebration Parade, 6:30 pm, followed by Santa and the tree lighting
- NEW! Holiday Movie at the Rosa Theatre! “Elf” wat 4:00 and 7:45 pm—tickets only $2!
Friday, December 5:
- Interactive Holiday Movie at the Library—“A Muppet’s Christmas Carol” (FREE)
- Light Up Bethany, 5-7pm (live music, decorated trees, treats and more)
- “Twelve Days of Christmas Cabaret,” Waupaca Fine Arts Festival, 7pm (Waupaca Country Club)
Saturday, December 6–Waupaca’s Yuletide Trail:
- Cookie Walk, 10 am-4 pm (get your cookie tin beginning on Friday, Oct. 31)
- Shopping in downtown Waupaca and King, 10 am-4 pm
- Holly Jolly Trolley from downtown (pick up on East Fulton Street) to King, 10 am-4 pm
- Waupaca Area Public Library storytime and Waupaca Arts Hub activities
- Danes Hall Children’s Christmas Party, 12-2 pm
- “Twelve Days of Christmas Cabaret,” Waupaca Fine Arts Festival, 7pm (Waupaca Country Club)
Sunday, December 7:
- Downtown Waupaca businesses open for shopping
- Check out the Artful Trees Display outside Library/City Hall
- Stroll down Main Street and enjoy the holiday-themed Storywalk in the beautiful planters!
