City of Waupaca to Host Public Information Meeting for Fulton Street Reconstruction Project

The City of Waupaca will host a Public Information Meeting for the Fulton Street Reconstruction Project on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Waupaca Library Meeting Room A, located at 111 S. Main Street.

The meeting will provide residents, property owners, businesses, and community members with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed reconstruction of Fulton Street from Hillcrest Drive to Main Street. City staff and representatives from Strand Associates, Inc. will be available to discuss the project scope, current design plans, anticipated schedule, and potential impacts. A brief presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by an open question-and-answer session.

The proposed project includes roadway reconstruction, underground utility improvements, ADA-compliant curb ramps, sidewalks, pavement replacement, streetscaping elements, and updated traffic configurations along various segments of the corridor.

Community input remains an important part of the design process, and attendees are encouraged to share comments, concerns, and suggestions regarding the project. Written comments will also be accepted through July 1, 2026.

Construction is currently anticipated to begin in Spring 2027 and conclude in Fall 2027.
